FAQ

My Campaign

When starting a campaign with Haveyoumet, you pay a standard starting fee of €150. Upon choosing a successful candidate for hiring, a reward incentive fee (anything upwards of €1500) is paid to whomever referred the chosen candidate.

In addition, you also pay 30% of the reward amount to Haveyoumet, the 'Success Fee'.

So for example:

  • You've chosen to start a new campaign with Haveyoumet, for this service you will have payed €150 as the starting fee and chosen to set a reward of €2000 for whomever refers your future colleague.
  • Upon hiring a chosen candidate, your campaign will have been successful. This means that you pay €2000 as the reward to the finder plus 30% of the reward fee set (in this case, amounting to €600) to Haveyoumet.
  • Along with the starting fee, this comes to a total of €2750 for the successful campaign.

In this example you end up with a total cost of  €2750,- (€150,- + €2000,- + €600).

# connections exampleThe coverage of your campaign depends on the extent to which you, your colleagues and other stakeholders wish to share it. The more people who share the campaign online, the more exposure it shall receive, ensuring greater coverage.

The coverage of your campaign outside your own network depends on the amount of people sharing it. The aim is to reach out to as many people as possible on a range of diverse social media platforms, gaining access to a huge follower base with a varied skill set. In addition, Haveyoumet shares your campaign with a personal network of around 5,000 plus followers to both increase the reach of your campaign and help to extend the Haveyoumet network.
The reward amount is set to a minimum of €1500 to help boost serious recommendations for your outstanding vacancy. By offering this amount, people take a far more considered approach to searching for a candidate. In this way, there is a greater chance you will find someone who really fits your company and team. Moreover, a serious reward amount prevents a lot of senseless recommendations being sent through. The overall cost of using Haveyoumet compared with using a Recruiter is considerably lower but because you rely on social networks, HAVEYOUMET reaches the right people, essentially seeking potential new employees and job seekers who really fit your company.
No, you can not exclude specific people or groups. It is better for your campaign to reach as many people as possible. The more people you reach, the greater the chance the information will be relayed to someone who can refer the right person for the vacancy. Moreover, the price you pay for filling your vacancy is already fixed. This means you will receive no unsolicited recommendations from recruiters, despite the openness of your campaign. Everyone can use Haveyoumet so anyone can recommend a candidate. It does not matter who the recommender is, but who gets recommended.
You do not have to state in your vacancy that you don't wish for acquisition. Because you have chosen Haveyoumet as the recruitment process, acquisition is no longer necessary. The price and conditions are fixed, with the help of the clear information provided, everyone can participate in the search for your new colleague. If a recruiter wants to recommend someone for your vacancy against the fixed conditions, simply refer him or her to your campaign on Haveyoumet.online. There, they can recommend someone within your own conditions set out.

Social Media

Yes, this is mandatory. The coverage and chance of success for your campaign depend on social media. The more your campaign is shared on social media platforms, the more your campaign will reach different social networks. This makes it more likely that people are indirectly made aware of your organisation and can quickly recommend the right candidate. Without the use of social media, the spreading of your campaign on social networks will not work optimally and chances of filling your vacancy with the correct candidate will be greatly reduced.
No, this is not possible. You start your campaign from your personal LinkedIn profile. This is because LinkedIn is a personal network with business relations. You can however, share your Haveyoumet campaign with your corporate account. We also recommend you do this as this increases the reach of your campaign.

Recommendations and candidates

If two people recommend the same candidate, the person who's recommendation came first is generally the one that will receive greater consideration, whilst dismissing the later one. You are given the opportunity to indicate why this has happened in the explanation field. You may also choose to pay both recommenders the reward if accepting two referrals for the same candidate. If you decide to do this, you will pay out the full reward amount to each person, the amount can not be split. A good reason to reward both successful recommenders is to help sustain a good image for your company. This ensures satisfaction for all parties and helps boost positive feedback within their networks.
If you hire someone who has been recommended via Haveyoumet for a position other than the one originally listed, you still pay all standing fees, including the reward fee to the person who recommended your new employee and the success fee to Haveyoumet (30% of the set reward). When your campaign is successful and you gain a new employee, you are obliged to pay in full.
If you accept a candidate through Haveyoumet that you already knew in advance, you still pay the reward to the person who recommended them and the success fee (30% of the set reward) to Haveyoumet. This also applies if you hire someone who already has a position within your company via Haveyoumet for another job position internally.

Yes, as long as your campaign is running, this is not a problem. You can hire as many candidates on one campaign as you want. Keep in mind, however, that you are always obliged to pay the person who recommended each candidate for a position. You also pay the success fee to Haveyoumet for each newly enrolled candidate. For example, you hire three new employees on one campaign with a reward of. €1500. This also means that you reward each social recruiter with €1500 for their recommendation and also pay a 3 times the success fee of 30% per reward fee to Haveyoumet.

The payment to the person who recommends each successful candidate is made via a 'third party account' MANGOPAY based in Luxemborg. When you hire a new employee, you indicate this in your campaign homepage. Afterwards, you will receive instructions from Haveyoumet to complete the payment. These instructions will also provide a cost breakdown of the payments being received by MANGOPAY before being forward to the person who made the successful recommendation.
